Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the "CoolProp for Google Sheets" add-on handles information. Our goal is to be transparent and simple.

Information We Handle

The add-on works by taking the inputs you provide in the Google Sheets functions (like =PropsSI(...) or =HAPropsSI(...)) and sending them to an external server running the CoolProp library.

• What is sent: Only the specific parameters (like temperature, pressure, fluid name) required by the CoolProp function you call are sent to the server.
• What is NOT sent: We do not access, collect, store, or transmit any other data from your Google Sheet, your Google Account, or your device. We don't know who you are, what your spreadsheet is called, or any other cell contents.

How Information is Used

The input parameters sent to the CoolProp server are used solely to calculate the requested thermophysical property. The server processes these inputs, performs the calculation using the CoolProp library, and sends the result back to your Google Sheet.

The server may keep temporary logs for debugging and performance monitoring purposes, but these logs do not contain personally identifiable information and are not linked to specific users or spreadsheets.

Data Sharing

We do not share your input data with any third parties, other than sending it to the necessary CoolProp calculation server as described above.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information transmitted between your Google Sheet and the CoolProp server, including using HTTPS encryption. However, no internet transmission is completely secure.
